Welcome to hidden-cabinet-locks.eu. We are an established European company with over 23 years of market experience in advanced biometric, RFID, and security hardware solutions. These Terms & Conditions define the framework for purchasing, dispatch, product warranties, returns, and personal data management in our online store.

1. General Provisions & Seller Information

• The online store at hidden-cabinet-locks.eu is operated by Novo Capital Investment Sp. z o.o., detailed in our Legal Notice (Impressum).
• We sell to both individual consumers (B2C) and commercial/business entities (B2B) across the European Union, broader Europe, and worldwide.
• Submitting an order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Pricing, Taxes & Orders

• Currency: All transactions, invoices, and product prices are established in Euro (EUR).
• Price Display: Product prices are presented clearly as Net (excluding VAT, standard for B2B) and Gross (including VAT, standard for B2C).
• B2C (EU Consumers): Standard statutory VAT (23%) or corresponding destination VAT under the EU OSS scheme is applied.
• B2B (EU Companies): Verified European businesses providing an active EU VAT-ID (validated via VIES) are invoiced at 0% VAT (Reverse Charge).
• Deliveries Outside the EU (Export): Transactions are processed without EU VAT. Local customs duties, import tariffs, and clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• Contract Formation: A binding sales contract is formed when an order is finalized and confirmed via our automated confirmation email.

3. Payment Methods

We provide secure, encrypted payment options via reliable gateways:

• Shopify Payments & Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express),
• Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay,
• PayPal,
• Country-Specific Local Payment Options available during checkout,
• Direct Bank Wire Transfer (IBAN/SWIFT): Orders are processed upon receipt of funds. Bank account details are provided during checkout and confirmed via email.

4. Shipping, Warehousing & Delivery

• Central Warehouse: All orders are prepared and shipped directly from our central warehouse located in Gdańsk, Poland.
• Delivery Scope: We dispatch to all European territories and internationally worldwide.
• Logistics Partners: Shipments are primarily routed via DPD, as well as DHL and FedEx.
• Order Processing Time: Goods are prepared and dispatched within 1–2 business days.
• Transit Times: Standard delivery across Europe usually takes 2–4 business days. Transit times for destinations outside Europe depend on local logistics and customs procedures.
• The tracking number is sent via email upon dispatch.

5. Returns & Right of Withdrawal (B2C Consumers Only)

• In accordance with European Union consumer legislation, individual consumers have the statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days from the receipt of goods without giving any reason.
• Specific instructions, shipping addresses, return criteria, and steps to exercise this right are governed strictly by our Refund Policy.
• The direct postage cost for returning the merchandise is borne by the Buyer.

6. Warranty & Complaints

• Commercial Warranty: We provide a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase on all products, with one exception: the budget invisible lock model BIO-S8080A is covered by a 12-month warranty.
• Consumer Statutory Rights: This voluntary commercial warranty operates alongside and does not limit statutory consumer rights regarding lack of conformity of goods under applicable EU regulations.
• Claim Process: Should a product arrive defective or fail during operation, please email our support team at sales@biofinger.pl with your order number, photo/video evidence, and a brief description. Claims are investigated and responded to within 14 calendar days.

7. Commercial Terms for Business Customers (B2B)

• For transactions conducted with businesses, sole proprietors, or institutional buyers:
• The statutory 14-day consumer right of withdrawal is explicitly excluded.
• Our financial liability for damages, delays, or defective products is strictly capped at the net purchase price of the contested items.

8. Data Protection & Privacy Policy (GDPR)

• Data Controller: The Controller of your personal data is Novo Capital Investment Sp. z o.o., as identified in our Legal Notice, with registered operations in Gdańsk, Poland. Contact: biuro@biofinger.pl.
• Purpose & Legal Basis: Personal data is processed exclusively to fulfill orders (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), comply with legal tax/accounting duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and coordinate customer service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Data Processors: Data is shared only with entities strictly necessary to fulfill your order: Shopify, PayPal, DPD, DHL, FedEx, and our certified accounting provider.
• Customer Rights: You retain the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.

9. Cookies & Web Analytics

• This website uses essential technical cookies required for the operation of the shopping cart and session security.
• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to collect aggregated, anonymous statistical traffic data to optimize store usability.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These terms and all commercial transactions are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union.
• EU Dispute Resolution (ODR): Consumers may use the EU dispute platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
• B2B Disputes: Any disputes involving commercial entities shall be settled exclusively by the court having jurisdiction over the registered seat of the Seller.
